By accessing, browsing, or using the RunSmart website or mobile application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including export and re-export control laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the RunSmart platform.
RunSmart Online, LLC may, without notice to you, at any time revise these Terms of Use and any other information contained in this website by updating this posting. RunSmart Online, LLC may also make improvements or changes in the products, services, or programs described in this site at any time without notice.
All information in the RunSmart platform — including but not limited to running biomechanics, strength and flexibility assessment, running drills, strength and flexibility exercises, workouts, mental imagery coaching, training plans, educational text, video, audio, graphics, logos, and software — is confidential and the property of RunSmart Online, LLC and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
This content cannot be duplicated, copied, or used in any way other than for use by the member and the member's coaches and family for evaluation of the member's biomechanical and run form analysis and implementation of the RunSmart program solely for that member. Any duplication, reproduction, or reuse of this information by any individual is strictly prohibited without written consent from RunSmart Online, LLC.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use RunSmart content for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

The RunSmart platform was designed by Steve Gonser, PT DPT, based on principles of physical therapy and exercise science. However, your use of the RunSmart platform does not create a patient-provider relationship between you and Steve Gonser, RunSmart Online, LLC, or any of its staff or contractors. RunSmart Online, LLC cannot give you medical advice or diagnosis; any evaluation and diagnosis must be performed in a clinical setting.
RunSmart Online, LLC recommends that all users use common sense when making use of any information on the RunSmart platform. Every individual's fitness, needs, and abilities are unique, and not all exercises or activities described on RunSmart are suitable for everyone. Users are urged to exercise caution when performing all drills, exercises, and workouts.
Before participating in any physical conditioning, strength training, or running program, you should seek permission and advice from your physician. You are urged and advised to seek the advice of a physician or other qualified health provider before beginning any dietary, fitness, or health-related effort or regimen based on any training instructions you receive through RunSmart.
The RunSmart platform is intended for use only by healthy adult individuals. RunSmart content is not intended for use by minors, pregnant women, or individuals with Type 1 diabetes or any other medical or nutritional condition. Such individuals are specifically warned to seek professional medical advice prior to initiating any form of dietary, fitness, or health-related effort or regimen.
Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or heard on RunSmart. If you are in the United States and think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. If you feel discomfort or pain, immediately stop the activity causing such discomfort or pain.
The RunSmart platform does not recommend or endorse any specific tests, physicians, products, procedures, opinions, or other information that may be mentioned on the RunSmart platform. Reliance on any information provided by RunSmart, RunSmart Online, LLC employees, or others appearing on the RunSmart platform is solely at your own risk.
RunSmart assumes no responsibility for injury, illness, or harm that may result from participation in any activity described or recommended on the platform. See our Waiver of Liability for the full terms of your assumption of risk.
RunSmart Online, LLC offers both free and Pro (paid) membership tiers. By creating a RunSmart account, you will automatically have access to our free basic membership, which includes limited features and content. To unlock full access to all features, training plans, and content, you may choose to upgrade to RunSmart Pro.
Free tier: Available at no cost. No credit card required. The free tier is not a trial — it does not expire and does not automatically convert to a paid subscription. Free tier features are subject to change.
Pro tier: Available on a monthly basis ($15/month) or annual basis ($119/year). Pro includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. After the trial period, your payment method will be charged at the applicable Pro rate unless you cancel before the trial ends. All Pro subscriptions are set to automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
Upgrading to Pro: You may upgrade at any time through your account settings in the RunSmart website or app. When you upgrade, your billing cycle will begin immediately and you will be charged the applicable Pro fee based on the plan you select.
Downgrading to Free: You may downgrade from Pro to the free basic membership at any time by canceling your Pro subscription in your account settings. When you downgrade, your access to Pro features will continue until the end of your current billing cycle. After that date, you will retain access to the free basic membership features at no charge.
You are responsible for ensuring your account information is accurate and that your payment method is current. RunSmart reserves the right to modify feature availability within each tier at any time, with reasonable notice to subscribers where material changes are made.
RunSmart Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select at signup. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscription management is handled via Recurly.
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will not receive a separate reminder before each renewal charge.
Cancellation: Pro subscriptions can be canceled at any time without early termination fees. You may cancel from within the RunSmart app or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features through the end of the period you have already paid for, at which point your account will automatically revert to the free basic membership. No partial refunds will be provided for the remainder of the billing period, except where required by applicable law.
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your subscription is managed by that platform. Cancellation must be made through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
RunSmart reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms of Use, or for non-payment of applicable fees.
RunSmart Online, LLC offers an Affiliate and Ambassador Program through which selected users ("Affiliates" and "Ambassadors") are provided with unique referral links to promote our products and services. Affiliates and Ambassadors may share these links with their network, audience, or other potential customers.
Please be aware that if you access our website, products, or services through a unique referral link provided by one of our Affiliates or Ambassadors, they may receive compensation for referring you. This compensation may be in the form of monetary rewards, discounts, or other benefits, as determined by RunSmart Online, LLC and in accordance with the terms of the Affiliate and Ambassador Program.
Affiliates and ambassadors must comply with all applicable advertising disclosure requirements, including FTC guidelines requiring clear disclosure of any material connection between the affiliate and RunSmart. Any affiliate or ambassador who makes claims about RunSmart products must ensure those claims are accurate and consistent with RunSmart's published product information.
Participation in the affiliate or ambassador program is subject to a separate agreement and additional terms provided at the time of enrollment. RunSmart reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time with reasonable notice to participants.
Our return policy for online merchandise purchases is as follows:
Defective or incorrect items will be replaced or refunded at RunSmart's expense. Sale items and digital products (including subscriptions) are not eligible for returns or refunds except where required by applicable law.
In no event will RunSmart Online, LLC be liable to any party for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages of any type whatsoever related to or arising from this website or any use of this website — along with any site or resource linked to, referenced, or accessed through this website, or for the use or downloading of, or access to, any materials, information, products, or services.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RunSmart Online, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss of profits, loss of data, personal injury, or property damage arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the RunSmart platform or any content provided therein.
RunSmart's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms of Use shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to RunSmart in the twelve months prior to the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.
The RunSmart platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Erie County, New York.
If any provision of these Terms of Use is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
RunSmart Online, LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may also provide notice via email or a prominent notice within the RunSmart platform.
Your continued use of RunSmart after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must discontinue your use of the platform.
