Steve will teach you how to transition to midfoot strike so you can run faster and avoid injuries.
The Midfoot Project is a 5-week bootcamp that provides you with a proven, step-by-step system to improve your run form.
Weekly training videos, guided audio runs, and study guides will be sent to you every Sunday to set you up for the week.
For 5 straight Sundays, Steve will deliver all the training, drills & exercises needed to help you transition to midfoot running.
The “homework” takes as little as 30 minutes/week and most of it can be practiced WHILE YOU RUN.
Physical Therapists Steve Gonser and Patrick O’Connor will be available daily to answer your questions.

Is Midfoot Project included with my RunSmart Membership?
No. RunSmart offers two annual programs that are not included with membership — Midfoot Project & Kneed for Speed.
When does the program start?
The Midfoot Project begins on March 20, 2022. At 6AM EST your first training arrives in your email and continues every Sunday for FIVE WEEKS.
Can I use Midfoot Project in my regular running program?
Does this program work for heel and toe runners?
Yes. This 5-week program breaks down your stride to help you learn proper midfoot running mechanics. It includes all the drills and exercises you need to break both heel and toe running.
How long do I have to access the training?
When you sign up for the Midfoot Project you get LIFETIME ACCESS to the video training. That means you can come back and revisit it whenever you’d like!
How much time does this program require?
The great thing about learning what we teach is that it can be learned WHILE YOUR RUNNING. Your time commitment outside of that will be 30 minutes a week to watch a video and roughly another 30 minutes throughout the week for exercises and drills.
What is the commitment in addition to my existing training?
The program is designed to work right into your existing running and training. When you go out for a run, you’ll be working on what you learn.
The first two weeks are a little bit heavier time commitment as you learn the new form.
- There’s one training video per week 35 minutes week one, then they get shorter over the course of 5 weeks.
- Exercise & drills ~10-15 minutes can be daily, but at least 2x/week.
- Then the remainder works into your existing running.
