Just as I instructed in Phase II, Phase III strength will continue to move you down the chain to improve balance and strength at the foot and ankle. BaseSix days 7 and 8 are fairly unique. Both days require a lot of balance. Day 7 will work on your muscle strength and endurance at the foot and ankle, while Day 8 will challenge you with backward movement. These strength workouts are perfect for training weeks with higher volume. Unlike previous BaseSix workouts, Days 7 and 8 shouldn’t result in extreme soreness. Keep them top of mind when you’re looking for a great strength workout down the road.
